Staff & Corporate Uniform Printing

Best for photo-realistic, full colour results for 1 t-shirt or 100.

Do I need corporate uniforms or workwear?

It comes down to who sees the garment. Corporate covers customer-facing staff — polos and dress shirts for office, retail, real estate and front-of-house teams, where fit and finish matter. Workwear and hi-vis covers trade and site environments, where durability and visibility come first. We stock both as separate ranges, and plenty of businesses order across the two in a single job.

Should I embroider or print my staff uniforms?

Embroider, in almost every case. It is the longest-lasting decoration method available, it handles the repeated washing uniforms get, it can stitch over seams, and on a polo or dress shirt it simply reads as more professional. The minimum is 20 units and there is a digitising fee to convert your logo into a stitch file, but that is a one-off — reorders use the same file. Printing makes more sense if your logo has gradients or fine detail embroidery cannot reproduce.

Digital printing process

Step 1 - Design Preparation

Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing begins with design preparation, where the design is created or finalized using graphic design software. The file should be high-resolution (300 DPI) and in a compatible format like PNG with a transparent background. Colors are optimized for print, and the design is resized to fit the garment specifications.

Step 2 - Garment Preparation

The garment is prepared by applying a pre-treatment solution, which enhances ink absorption and durability, especially for cotton or cotton-blend fabrics. The fabric is then dried using a heat press to set the pre-treatment and create a smooth, flat surface for printing.

Step 3 - Printing

The prepared garment is loaded onto the printer’s platen, carefully aligned to avoid wrinkles. A DTG printer applies the design directly to the fabric using water-based inks for vibrant, accurate results. For darker garments, a white ink base layer is printed first before adding colors.

Step 4 - Curing the Ink

The printed garment is cured using a heat press or conveyor dryer. This step ensures the ink bonds with the fabric, improving durability and washability, resulting in a high-quality finished product.

Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum order for embroidered uniforms?

20 units. For smaller runs or single replacement pieces, direct to film printing has no minimum.

Is there a setup cost for embroidery?

Yes — a digitising fee to convert your logo into an embroidery file. It is a one-off; once the file exists, reorders do not repeat it.

Can embroidery match my exact brand colour?

Not exactly. Thread comes in a fixed range, so we get as close as possible rather than an exact Pantone match. Screen printing is the option if exact colour matching is essential.

What garments are available for staff uniforms?

The Corporate range covers polos and dress shirts. Hospitality adds aprons and polos, Workwear & High Vis covers vests, shirts, polos and fleecy, and there are jackets, headwear and bags across the wider range.

Can I order more uniforms later as I hire?

Yes. Once your logo has been digitised, reorders are straightforward. Standard Production of 10 to 14 business days still applies.

Will embroidery work on a fine-detail logo?

Embroidery cannot reproduce gradients or very fine detail. If your logo has either, we would recommend direct to film instead, which handles full colour with no minimum order.
