Sports Club & Team Merch

Best for photo-realistic, full colour results for 1 t-shirt or 100.

What should our club order?

Playing kit is only part of it. Most clubs also want polos for coaches and officials, hoodies and jackets for the sideline in winter, supporter tees for finals, caps, and something for presentation night. Off-field merch is often where clubs actually make money, because supporters will buy a hoodie in a way they never buy a playing singlet. Ordering it all together also brings the per-item price down.

Can players order and pay for their own gear?

Yes. Rather than the club collecting money and fronting an order, we can set up an online store where each player or family picks their size and pays directly. You set the products and the price, we print and ship to each person, and funds come back to the club at the end. It removes the two worst jobs on any committee: chasing payments and guessing sizes.

Digital printing process

Step 1 - Design Preparation

Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing begins with design preparation, where the design is created or finalized using graphic design software. The file should be high-resolution (300 DPI) and in a compatible format like PNG with a transparent background. Colors are optimized for print, and the design is resized to fit the garment specifications.

Step 2 - Garment Preparation

The garment is prepared by applying a pre-treatment solution, which enhances ink absorption and durability, especially for cotton or cotton-blend fabrics. The fabric is then dried using a heat press to set the pre-treatment and create a smooth, flat surface for printing.

Step 3 - Printing

The prepared garment is loaded onto the printer’s platen, carefully aligned to avoid wrinkles. A DTG printer applies the design directly to the fabric using water-based inks for vibrant, accurate results. For darker garments, a white ink base layer is printed first before adding colors.

Step 4 - Curing the Ink

The printed garment is cured using a heat press or conveyor dryer. This step ensures the ink bonds with the fabric, improving durability and washability, resulting in a high-quality finished product.

Frequently asked questions

Can you print individual names and numbers?

Yes. Send a list with each player's name, number and size and we will apply it across the order — on playing kit, training tops, hoodies or jackets.

What is the minimum order?

Screen printing and embroidery need 20 units per design. Direct to film has no minimum, which suits smaller clubs and mid-season top-ups.

What is the best method for club gear?

Direct to film for stretch fabrics and activewear — it works on polyester and blends and will not crack or peel. Embroidery for coaching polos and jackets. Screen printing if you are ordering supporter tees in real volume.

Can we include sponsor logos?

Yes. Send each sponsor's logo in the best file they have and tell us where each one goes. Note that we print what is supplied without proofing, so check the logos are the current versions.

How long does a club order take?

Standard Production is 10 to 14 business days plus postage. For a season opener, order well before you think you need to.

How is this different from custom sportswear?

Custom sportswear covers performance and playing apparel. This covers everything around the team — coaching polos, supporter merch, sideline jackets and presentation gear. Most clubs need both.
