School Merch & Uniform Printing

Best for photo-realistic, full colour results for 1 t-shirt or 100.

How do we order leavers jerseys and school merch?

Pick your garment, upload the design, and give us sizes and quantities. For leavers gear the usual setup is a hoodie or jersey carrying the year and a name list on the back — send that through as a list with sizes attached and we will handle it. Standard Production is 10 to 14 business days, so work backward from the date you need them and add postage on top. Term 3 and 4 are the busiest months for this by a wide margin.

Can families pay individually instead of the school fronting the cost?

Yes, and this is usually the better way to run it. Our fundraising campaign setup gives you an online store where you pick the products, upload the design and set your own price. Families order and pay directly, we print and ship to them, and at the end of the campaign the funds are transferred to you. No upfront cost, no inventory sitting in a storeroom, and no committee member chasing cash in envelopes.

Digital printing process

Step 1 - Design Preparation

Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing begins with design preparation, where the design is created or finalized using graphic design software. The file should be high-resolution (300 DPI) and in a compatible format like PNG with a transparent background. Colors are optimized for print, and the design is resized to fit the garment specifications.

Step 2 - Garment Preparation

The garment is prepared by applying a pre-treatment solution, which enhances ink absorption and durability, especially for cotton or cotton-blend fabrics. The fabric is then dried using a heat press to set the pre-treatment and create a smooth, flat surface for printing.

Step 3 - Printing

The prepared garment is loaded onto the printer’s platen, carefully aligned to avoid wrinkles. A DTG printer applies the design directly to the fabric using water-based inks for vibrant, accurate results. For darker garments, a white ink base layer is printed first before adding colors.

Step 4 - Curing the Ink

The printed garment is cured using a heat press or conveyor dryer. This step ensures the ink bonds with the fabric, improving durability and washability, resulting in a high-quality finished product.

Frequently asked questions

How long do school orders take?

Standard Production is 10 to 14 business days, plus postage. Rush options are available at checkout if your date is tight.

Can every student have their own name on their jersey?

Yes. Send us a list with each student's name and size and we will apply it across the run.

Is there a minimum order?

Screen printing and embroidery need 20 units. Direct to film and direct to garment have no minimum, so smaller groups and one-off replacements are fine.

How does a fundraising campaign work?

You choose the products, upload your design, set your price and launch the store. Families order and pay directly, we print and ship to each of them, and the funds are transferred to you when the campaign closes.

What can we sell besides shirts?

Hoodies, tote bags, caps and bucket hats, tea towels, towels, mugs, drink bottles, stubby coolers and cushion covers all print well and sell well for school fundraising.

What if a name is spelled wrong?

We print exactly what is supplied and do not proof customer artwork, so spelling and sizing are the school's responsibility. Check the list carefully before submitting — misspellings are not covered by returns.
