Bulk T-Shirt Printing (Wholesale / 25+)

Best for photo-realistic, full colour results for 1 t-shirt or 100.

How does bulk pricing work?

The more you order, the less each piece costs. That is not a marketing line, it is how the process works: setup happens once whether you print 25 shirts or 250, so the cost of it spreads further across a bigger run. Bulk discounts apply automatically as your quantity climbs. If you are ordering for a business, a club or a reseller operation, it is almost always cheaper to run one large order than three small ones across the year.

Which print method should I use for a large order?

Screen printing, in most cases. A screen is made once for each colour, then every shirt after that runs quickly — which is why the per-unit price drops away hardest on large runs. It also gives the most solid colour, can match your brand colours exactly, prints on synthetics, and offers metallic inks. The minimum is 20 units per design and it handles up to six colours, so simple bold artwork is far more economical at volume than a full-colour photograph.

Digital printing process

Step 1 - Design Preparation

Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing begins with design preparation, where the design is created or finalized using graphic design software. The file should be high-resolution (300 DPI) and in a compatible format like PNG with a transparent background. Colors are optimized for print, and the design is resized to fit the garment specifications.

Step 2 - Garment Preparation

The garment is prepared by applying a pre-treatment solution, which enhances ink absorption and durability, especially for cotton or cotton-blend fabrics. The fabric is then dried using a heat press to set the pre-treatment and create a smooth, flat surface for printing.

Step 3 - Printing

The prepared garment is loaded onto the printer’s platen, carefully aligned to avoid wrinkles. A DTG printer applies the design directly to the fabric using water-based inks for vibrant, accurate results. For darker garments, a white ink base layer is printed first before adding colors.

Step 4 - Curing the Ink

The printed garment is cured using a heat press or conveyor dryer. This step ensures the ink bonds with the fabric, improving durability and washability, resulting in a high-quality finished product.

Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum order for screen printing?

20 units per design. If you need fewer than that, direct to film has no minimum and still handles full colour.

How many colours can you screen print?

Up to six. Each colour needs its own screen, so every extra colour adds to the setup cost — a two-colour design is much cheaper at volume than a six-colour one.

Can I mix sizes in a bulk order?

Yes. Your quantity counts across the whole order, not per size, so a run of 50 split across five sizes still prices as 50.

Can you match my exact brand colours?

With screen printing, yes — inks are mixed to match. Embroidery cannot match Pantone exactly, and digital methods can shift slightly on very saturated colours. Send your Pantone references with your artwork.

What file format do you need?

For screen printing, .png or .eps. Send the highest resolution version you have — we do not proof or correct customer artwork, so what you supply is what gets printed.

How long does a bulk order take?

Standard Production is 10 to 14 business days. Large runs and screen printing setup should be planned around that, not squeezed into the end of it.
