A cap has a curve, a seam and a structured front panel, which is exactly the combination that makes printing awkward. Custom embroidery doesn't care. Your logo is stitched into the fabric rather than sitting on top of it, so it follows the shape of the cap and won't crack, peel or fade off the front after a summer of wear.
Once upon a time embroidery was done with a human hand attached to the needle and thread, but these days we have nifty big machines that do a lot of the heavy lifting – which means a premium finish without a premium wait. Your artwork gets digitised into a stitch file first, and that file is what the machine runs, so every cap in the order comes out identical to the last.
Logo embroidery on hats suits clean, confident artwork best: crisp lettering, a club emblem, a wordmark, a simple icon. Very fine detail and subtle gradients don't survive the translation to thread, so if your logo is busy we'll usually suggest a simplified version for the cap and keep the full one for your tees.
