Who it's for

Who runs a fundraising campaign?

Schools, sports clubs, charities, community groups, P&Cs, dance schools and anyone else who used to run a bake sale. The model is simple: instead of buying 200 shirts and hoping, you open a store, share the link, and only the shirts people actually buy get printed. No leftover boxes, no chasing cash in envelopes.

How it works

Open a store, share the link, collect the funds

You pick the products, upload the design and set your own price. We build the store page. Supporters order and pay directly, we print and ship to each of them, and when the campaign closes the funds are transferred to you. The only job left for the committee is sharing the link.

  1. 1Pick products, upload your design, set the price and launch.
  2. 2Share it on social media, email and the newsletter.
  3. 3Campaign closes, we print and ship, you receive the funds.

How the shirts get printed

Campaign orders are printed per item with DTF, so every size and colour combination is possible without a minimum. Big campaigns can switch to a bulk run.

Direct to Film

Full colour on almost any fabric, no minimum. Will not crack or peel.

Best for: small runs, mixed designs, synthetics and stretch fabric

The details

Setting your price

  • Your margin is yours

We charge the base product and print price. Whatever you add on top goes to your cause.

  • Keep it simple

One or two designs on three or four products sells better than a catalogue. Hoodies are the earner.

  • Set a closing date

A two to three week window creates urgency and gives us one clean production run.

How it works

A campaign, start to finish

  1. 1

    Send your design and products

Tell us what you want to sell and at what price. We will suggest if you are unsure.

  2. 2

    We build your store

A campaign page with your products, sizes and closing date, ready to share.

  3. 3

    Supporters order and pay

Each person picks their size and pays online. No collecting money.

  4. 4

    Printed, shipped, funds transferred

After closing, we print and ship to each supporter and send the funds to you.

Term 3 and 4 are the busiest time for school campaigns. Launch early and give the campaign a clear closing date so the shirts arrive before the end of year.
FAQ

Fundraising questions, answered

More questions? Call 07 3846 1008, 8am to 4pm weekdays, or email sales@thetshirtmill.com.au.

Does it cost anything to start?

No. There is no setup fee and no stock to buy. You only ever pay for what is sold, and that comes out of the sale.

How do we get the money?

Proceeds are paid out when the campaign closes, to the account you nominate. Affiliate store commissions, if you keep a store running afterwards, are paid to PayPal at the start of each month.

Can supporters pay individually?

Yes. That is the whole point. Each person orders and pays for their own, and we ship to them.

Is there a minimum?

No. If three people buy, three shirts get printed.

Can we have names or numbers on the back?

Yes. Supporters can enter a name at checkout, or you can supply a list.

How long until supporters get their order?

Orders are printed after the campaign closes. Allow 7 to 10 business days production plus postage from the closing date.

Who can run a fundraising campaign?

Schools and P&Cs, sports clubs, charities, community groups, dance schools and families raising money for a cause. There is no size minimum, so a small group works as well as a whole school.

Where do you print and ship from?

Everything is printed in Newstead, Brisbane and shipped Australia-wide, with free local pickup if your supporters are nearby.

Ready to raise some money?
